The impact of cooperative learning strategy in the development of written expression skills of secondary school students
Summary :
The goal of current research to find a solution to the problem of the low level of students in the skills of written expression during the testing of a new teaching strategies, a cooperative learning strategy, therefore, has been the formulation of research problem in the President the followin question:
(What's the impact of cooperative learning strategy in the development of functional skills of written expression?)
It is divided by the following questions:
1 - What career skills, written expression, which should be taught to students in second grade of secondary scientific and what areas?
2 - the relative importance of each skill achieved by the skills of written expression?
3 - What career issues of expression that should be written to teach the second grade students of secondary?
4 - What is the effect of the teaching of subjects such areas using the cooperative learning strategy in the development of skills of written expression?
For the answer to the questions of current research followed by the following steps:
First - to answer the first question: The preparation of a list of written expression skills included in the initial image (60) skill, and (10) areas, and after the presentation of a number of professional arbitrators in the field of teaching Arabic language, and the area of curriculum and teaching methods, and measurement and evaluation in A number of Yemeni universities and educational development center, the whole 80% of the arbitrators (32) the skill of the skills included in the initial image, and (4) areas of expression appropriate to the grade-secondary science, an area of writing the application, and the area of writing letters and writing in the field events, and the area of report writing.
second: - to answer the second question of the current research questions, has been transferred in the final image was presented to identify the (34) teachers, and directed, and trained in the field of teaching Arabic language to know the relative importance of each skill from the skills of written expression, and after analysis of the results of Questionnaire relative to the current research findings (20) the skill of the skills included in the resolution obtained averages, and relative importance, and the degree of the Faculty of high and medium, and (12) obtained the averages, and relative importance, and the degree of the Faculty of the weak and excluded from the study researcher.
III - to answer the third question of the current research questions identified by each of the areas of expression on the subject as follows:

2 - in the subject of writing letters: letters of congratulations.
3 - In the area of writing the theme: visit the school library.
4 - in the field of writing in the subject of events: the Yemeni unity.
IV - to answer the fourth question posed by current research tested the following hypothesis: that has been formulated as follows: (There are significant differences at the level of statistical significance (0.01) among the middle-grades students in the application of tribal and dimensional measurement of the growth to test the skills of written expression attributable career to the use of cooperative learning strategy in teaching).
Among the actions taken by the researcher to verify this hypothesis are:
1 - has been divided into the themes of skills prior to the expression described previously after the preparation in accordance with the cooperative learning strategy by studying the five skills during each of the topic.
2 - Preparation of the teacher's guide for teaching the topics of expression in accordance with the cooperative learning strategy.
3 - was prepared to test for measuring the growth of skills of written expression and functional tribal Baadia, and arbitration, and the calculation of persistence and the proper time to answer it.
4 - has been chosen as the school with the approval of the competent authorities and the identification of research and a sample of 30 students from second grade students of secondary science.
5 - The control variables and sample research division into five cooperative groups (the six-cluster), and the distribution of roles to them, and prepare the classroom for the application of any test in two weeks: from 16/11/2008 to 30/11/2008 m.
6 - Applying the test to measure the skills of tribal expression of a sample of written research.
7 - Teaching career topics written expression of a sample search for a strategy of collaborative learning (learning together), etc. for the period from: 1/12/2008 to 31/12/2008 m so that each subject was taught in a class Zamanha (60) minutes are distributed to the strategy, and each share of studying during the week, namely: within four weeks.

9 - to correct the test and statistical operations on the results of tests through the use of the program (spss) for the application of statistical operations, namely:

The results showed significant differences at the level of statistical significance (0.01) among the middle-grades students in the experimental group and the application of tribal dimensional growth of the test of written expression skills for the career of students in grades dimensional application, and this means accepting the premise, and that there is a difference in the development of skills expression at the level of the written job application due to the use of cooperative learning strategy in teaching.
