    Abstract :
    This study aims to determine the impact of Arabic teaching using multi media to improve the necessary language skills for the 4th grade students in the schools of Republic of Yemen, this is after we Conversioned that question to(6)question, contained (the most important language skills required for the students of the 4th grade in Republic of Yemen, and the relative importance for each skill of the determined language skills according to the point of view of the Arabic language teachers and their supervisors, and the shape of two units of the school curriculum that were designed via multi media programs to improve some important language skills of the 4th grade students, and the affect of teaching two units designed via multi media programs on the performance of experimental group of students, and Are there a statistical differences in the level of the language skills between the sample group and control group of students ?, and Are there a statistical differences in the level of the language skills between the sample students related to the gender ?
    To get the answers for the questions mentioned above , a list of the most important language skills for the 4th grade students were determined , then a questioner had been prepared according to this list . After that , the two mentioned unites had been rephrased . the two unites from the 4th grade were unit no. 2 " Health is a crown " , and unit no. 3 " attitudes and values " . A multi media program had been designed using a variety of specified computer programs . Furthermore , an exam had been given to the students to evaluate and measure the level of students of the sample .
    The study was applied on an experimental sample consist of 30 students , males and females from Al-Imam Al-Shafeay school , and compared with a control group consist of 30 students, males and females, from Al-Ashwal school , the experimental sample of students were taught these units via multi media programs using a projector and a computer, the control were taught via the usual teaching methods .
    The results of the exam of this study were analyzed statistically by mathematical averages, standard variation and T-test.
    The most important results which concluded from this study are :
    1. A list of 39 skills which are the most important language skills for the 4th grade .
    2. About 21 skills got a high relative importance which got more than 75% . These skills are the same skills which were depended on during rephrasing and designing the two units.
    The other skills which got a relative importance ranged between 62%-74% are 18 skills which were excepted due to its difficulty of the measurement of skills improvement during the study.
    3. Multi media programs were presented in DVDs of size 4G.B.
    4. Experimental students group achieved 65.31% in its performance , whereas the control students group achieved 34.68% in their language performance exam .The result shows the effectiveness of multi media programs in language skills improvement.
    5. There's a statistical difference at level(0.05) between the average of the two groups marks in the lingual performance exam . The high average was for the sample group which got an average 30.2 . However , the control group got an average 16.05 .In other words , the sample group got double the control group .
    6. Another statistical difference was found at level of (0.05) between the two groups in each skill . The sample group got a high average in all skills except three skills .
    7. No statistical differences between the genders in their lingual performance , so the multi media programs proved their ability on the mental process performance , so it superior on the traditional studying methods which show differences upon the gender .
    The study has came up with some outcomes and recommendations to encourage teaching Arabic language using Multi Media , the most important outcomes are:
    The need to programmatic the students' books into attractive stories which help the students to understand and learn quickly , In addition , attaching of the CD or DVD to the students' books after taking in consideration the right way of reading to improve the language skills and to encourage the Arabic language studying using multi media.
